IFRC Girls' Party 2011

It Happened... May 19, 2011

This event is an annual tradition, started by the Einwechter girls back when Candace and I were little. Now they have given us, along with Emma, the privilege of hosting it. The theme we chose was... Well, see if you can figure it out.

Belles with their hair.

Musical Chairs

Kathleen writing a "note."

Good manners predominated.

Fork Fatality #1

What! Yours too, Emma?

Candace! Surely not?

Would you believe it! Mine too.

(By the end of the meal, we had replaced almost everybody's fork. Other than that, the day was debacle-free.)

Candace made this beautiful pinata. The Liberty Bell pales in comparison.

The Liberty Bell's crack pales in comparison.

Candace directs the candy collecting. :-)

Winner of "Don't Say Piano"

The moment I realized I had set the camera to take ten consecutive group photos.

And here's one tenth of them.

It was a day of notes and joy.

I like the picture of you realizing you had set the camera to take ten photos instead of one the best Carmen. Looks like alot of fun! I was just looking over old photos today and I came across a picture of all the girls from the Girls Party of 2006... everyone looked so little!
