Life goes by at a dizzying rate.

With the biggest smile you can muster, try to keep pace with it.

But make time for tranquility and reflection too. Climb into a cardboard box maybe.

Or on the top of a plastic one.
(Note: Having a brother trapped beneath is essential.)

Maybe go to the park with your aunt.

Find humor in dressed-up teddy bears.

Love the life God has given and the people in that life.

Love the people who love cats, even if you don't.

Sometimes there are a lot of them (i.e., cats and people who love them).

Find their good points.

Such as obsessive paw-washing.

And their open-eyed wonder at the beauty around them.

Their ability to doggedly (or should I say
cattedly?) put one foot in front of the other and keep going.

The fact that they never say, "Stop that, would you?" when you stalk them with a camera.
I have found that they confine their remarks to "Meow."
(That "Me - Ow" could be communicating personal pain is an idea I have no time for.)
